Drawing the head
The aim of this course is for the participants to work out a basis with methods for drawing in order to gain a clear and understandable knowledge of the human head.
Priority is not given to portrait studies but to the study of the anatomy of the skull, the muscles and the proportions of each part in relation to the whole.
The workshop is divided into three sections that relate to and are complementary to each other.
First section: The skull; study of its form and its proportions Second section: The head; building on the preceding practices follows the study of its anatomy and its three-dimensional form, with the aid of a model. Third section: Free interpretations. This workshop is also a preparation for making models of the head.
There is an additional charge of CHF 40.- per person for the model.
