René Staub
Is a staff member of the Art Foundry. Area of experience and interest: silicone mould making and casting techniques. He teaches figurative sculptural design.
Born 1957 in New York. He studied engineering in Winterthur. He then qualified as a teacher at the Academy of Art and Design in Zurich. Then followed years of study in sculpture at the ENSBA in Paris and the Art Academy in Prague. For many years he also worked at the Art Foundry Zollinger in Bischofszell. Area of responsibility: silicone mould making and wax casting. He also taught figurative sculptural design and mould making techniques at the Art School in Liechtenstein. He lives and works in the Rhine Valley/Switzerland.
