Born on 8 January 1964 in Stuttgart. After completing a sculpture internship with his grandfather, Prof. Fritz Nuss, he trained as a stone sculptor from 1984 to 1987.
From 1988 to 1989, he studied at the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts under Prof. van Dülmen. Since 1990, he has worked as a freelance sculptor in Schorndorf.
He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Germany and abroad and has taken part in international symposia in countries including Egypt, Belgium, China, Germany, France, Switzerland, Turkey, Syria, Albania and India.
Many of his works can be found in public spaces or in private collections.
