Three-dimensional Design

Glowing, liquid, malleable – metal is a fascinating material for sculptural processes. In our metal casting courses, we experiment with forms, casting methods and creative techniques. Unique objects emerge at the intersection of sculpture and design. Another approach is the forging of simple tools, offered as part of the course Stonework Basics.

In figurative modelling, we explore the human body as a medium of expression – sometimes through direct observation of a model, sometimes freely from imagination. Proportion, posture, facial expression and body language become central elements of sculptural form. Techniques such as hollow construction in clay or wax modelling expand our approach to the figure. Whether realistic, abstracted or experimental – the focus is always on artistic engagement with the human form.

Modelling, casting, building – with clay, plaster or concrete, we train our spatial thinking and explore a wide range of artistic possibilities. Whether figurative or experimental, from basics to free form exploration: the combination of malleable and cast materials opens up an exciting field between sketch and sculpture, planning and intuition.

Silicon casting is not recommended for beginners. Experience in modelling and plaster casting is required. Many copies of our original sculptures can be created with the silicon mould. The exactness of the copy is amazing and gives great satisfaction.
