"Sehr geehrter Herr Giacometti,
Viel zu viel Zeit ist verstrichen - unentschuldbar viel Zeit! -, seit ich Ihren Beitrag über Annetta Giacometti und Ottilia Berthoud-Giacometti in den Quaderni grigionitaliani erhalten habe. Ich danke Ihnen sehr herzlich dafür. Vor allem aber möchte ich Ihnen meine Bewunderung kundtun: Es ist ein hervorragender recherchierter Artikel, der mit wunderbarem Quellen- und Bildmaterial aufwartet. Und es ist ein Text, mit dem die Kenntnis um die Künstlerfamilie Giacometti ganz wesentlich erweitert und vertieft wird. Vom Wissen, dass auf diese Weise vermittelt wird, werden noch viele Generationen profitieren.
Ich gratuliere von Herzen zu Ihrem Artikel - der ja eigentlich schon ein Buch ist!

Freelance sculptor. Has a federal diploma in stone sculpting. Own workshop. From 2016: Tutor at the Scuola di Scultura, Peccia.

Born in 1964, he has been a passionate bronze caster since 2013. 

She is a member of the Association of Zurich Sculptors and trained as a stone sculptor whilst studying part-time at the Art College Bern. She has been tutoring at the Summer Academy Marburg, Germany, since 2003. Since 2014: Lectureship at the Art School Liechtenstein. From 2015: Tutoring at the Scuola di Scultura, Peccia.

He studied at the ‘Accademia di belle arti’, Carrara. He has been a freelance sculptor since 2000 (commissioned and non commissioned work). Tutor at the Scuola di Scultura since 2014.

was born in 1978 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and lives and works in Berlin. She studied at the Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin, where she received her Master’s degree in 2016. Previously, she studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and the European Institute of Design in Rome. In addition to her artistic work, she has been teaching at various educational institutions for several years.
From 2025, she will also teach at the Scuola di Scultura.

Studied representational sculpture with Prof. B. Altenstein at the "HfK"/Bremen. 2007-2008 Master pupil of Prof. B. Altenstein. Started tutoring at the Scuola di Scultura in 2009.

Born in 1957, Swiss-French dual citizen. Geologist and conservation scientist. Since 2007 research activities and lecturing at the University of Applied Sciences Lugano (SUPSI). Retires in 2021 and will, for the first time, hold a geology seminar at the Scuola di Scultura in Peccia.

Artist, plastic artist & sculptor, born 1975 in Leipzig. Graduated from the University of Art and Design, Burg Giebichenstein Halle (Saale).

Since 2022 he is teaching at the Scuola di Scultura in Peccia.

Manager of the scrap metal workshop ‘Serafin’s Garden’ near the adventure playground ‘Holzwurm’ (Woodworm) in Uster. This is a place for welding, metal casting and much more. In 2007 he was the course tutor for metal casting at the Scuola di Scultura.
