The study of a given theme opens up new dimensions for us and helps us to find new starting-points. It is hoped that, as time goes on, you will develop a style of your own. This course is about Dream Worlds.
Everyone has dreams and wishes about how they would like their life to unfold. Anyone engaged in art and sculpture has ideas and visions of how they wish to approach stone, material and their own artistic practice, and how they want to live it.
The participants turn inward to discover their own dreams and visions and reflect on them. They then seek to translate them into stone. The resulting sculpture should give expression to these dreams and visions.
Prerequisite for the course: Good stone sculpting skills (must have completed an introductory as well as a basic skills course) and a love for three-dimensional form.
